WARRINGTON Town’s young guns have reached the Cheshire FA Youth Cup Final for the second successive year.
Their ticket was booked with a 5-0 win against Wirral’s Shaftesbury Youth Club.
The final will take place on Tuesday, April 7 at Vauxhall Motors FC kick off 7.15pm.
Ben Currey will miss out on two finals after breaking his ankle a month ago.
The left-back has also featured this season for Cheshire FA under 18s, which has reached the FA County Youth Cup Final for the first time in more than 20 years.
They will take on Middlesex FA at Barnet FC on Sunday, April 12, with Town’s Niall Ford, Charlie Livesey and Ben Collins to battling for places in the side.
Town currently fifth in the North West Youth Alliance Premier Division, after a 3-0 victory at Abbey Hey. Collins scored a brace and Matt Hadley followed up a Collins shot to poke in the other.
Young keeper Lucas Barnes achieved his first clean sheet in only his third league appearance.
Town host Prescot Cables in the league on Sunday, kick off 2pm, before entertaining Curzon Ashton in the Neil Thomason Cup semi final on Sunday, March 29.
