WARRINGTON Town made it three wins from four games with victory over Salford, but they remain eight points down on fifth-placed Clitheroe with just eight games of the season remaining.

The Yellows now have a weekend off, but then step up the pace by playing three of those remaining eight matches in the space of seven days, starting with the visit of Burscough on Tuesday, March 26, kick off 7.45pm.

Then comes a vital Easter double header for Shaun Reid’s side, with games against play-off rivals Clitheroe and eighth-placed Cammell Laird on Saturday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 arriving back-to-back as the Evo-Stik Division One North season reaches its climax.
