LIVERPOOL Reserves are without Champions League trio Stephen Darby, Jay Spearing and Martin Kelly for tonight's trip to Bolton Wanderers.

The three reserve team regulars all featured as substitutes in Liverpool's 3-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Philips Stadium on Tuesday night.

All of them played in last week's 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Reserves at the Halliwell Jones but will not be back in time for the second string's trip to the Reebok Stadium.

Hungarian hotshot Krisztian Nemeth makes just his second start of the season after missing much of it through injury, while Damien Plessis captains the side.

Bolton are expected to field a strong team, including the likes of centre half Danny Shittu, on-loan Polish midfielder Ebi Smolarek and goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi.

The match kicks off at 7pm at the Reebok Stadium.

Liverpool team: Martin Hansen, Emmanuel Gomis Mendy, Michael Scott, Mikel San Jose Dominguez, Ronald Huth, Damien Plessis, Ryan Crowther, Daniel Ayala, Krisztian Nemeth, Gerardo Bruna, Vincent Weijl. Subs: Andras Simon, Dean Bouzanis, Jordy Brouwer, Alexander Kacaniklic, Adam Pepper.
