Town’s young guns unbeaten

WARRINGTON Town’s Youth side continued their fine start to the North West Youth Alliance Premier Division season with two wins in a week.

Town’s youngsters now sit second behind FC United of Manchester with a game in hand, and they will hope to take this form into their FA Youth Cup fixture against Wrexham at the Abacus Solicitors Community Stadium on September 19, 7.15pm kick-off.

They started the week with a 8-0 drubbing of hosts Hyde, with their pair of hat-trick heroes James Anderson and Chris Bandell adding their strikes to goals from Dylan Glass and George Emson.

They followed this up with a 5-1 defeat of Prescott Cables, with Anderson grabbing his seventh in three games to add to braces from Oliver Wells and Dylan Glass.
