Crosfields/Rylands 1 Greenalls PSO 1

CROSFIELDS/RYLANDS’ second ‘derby’ on the trot again ended 1-1 on Saturday.

In a game lacking in consistency, it was Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds who drew first blood midway through the opening half when a fine move resulted in Lee Hughes firing an unstoppable shot high into Crosfields goal from the edge of the area.

Crosfields/Rylands’ Craig Ward levelled on 35 minutes with a half volley from 10 yards.

Greenalls missed a second half penalty.

Crosfields/Rylands entertain Knutsford in the Divisional Cup quarter final on Saturday, kick off 1.30pm.
