WARRINGTON Town have revealed their first two new signings for the 2018-19 season.

The Guardian can reveal that manager Paul Carden has added defender Alex Honeyball and winger Lewis Nightingale to his squad at Cantilever Park.

Honeyball, 20, spent last season with Town’s Evo-Stik Premier Division rivals Stalybridge Celtic having originally come through the ranks at Bolton Wanderers.

Experienced wideman Nightingale, 27, can name Bradford Park Avenue, Harrogate Railway, Darlington and, most recently, Bamber Bridge among his former clubs.

Meanwhile, Yellows have confirmed their full pre-season schedule in preparation for the new campaign.

Home fixtures will be against newly-promoted League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers, National League North side Stockport County and Welsh Premier Division outfit Bangor City, while Carden’s side will also make trips to Wythenshawe Town, Runcorn Town, Ashton Town, Trafford and Clitheroe.
