Skelmersdale United 2 Warrington Town 2
YELLOWS surrendered a two-goal lead in their latest pre-season test as they drew at Skelmersdale United on Tuesday night.
Paul Carden's side took the lead when they were awarded a penalty for a push in the area from a corner.
Sean Williams saw his effort saved, but Tony James converted the rebound for his first goal since joining the club.
The lead was doubled by a long-range strike from trialist Rory McKeown as Town led 2-0 at the break.
However, Skem, who included ex-Yellows trio Steven Gillespie, Danny Ventre and Lewis Codling in their team, pulled level thanks to goals from Andy Owens and Jack Stewart.
