WARRINGTON Town were impressive in parts during a 2-1 friendly defeat to National League side Wrexham on Tuesday.
Yellows boss Paul Carden had four triallists in his squad and they fell two goals behind to a Dragons side that brought a strong team to Cantilever Park.
Chris Holroyd and Scott Boden scored in either half for higher-ranked Wrexham, but Town had the last laugh when Ruben Jerome finished a good counter attack.

Yellows visit Atherton Collieries in their next pre-season outing on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
