Leicester header takes Orford FC to semi finals of Northern Cup
ORFORD FC have reached the semi finals of football's Northern Cup.
The Cheshire League Two side progressed with a 2-1 win at Maine Road Reserves on Monday.
After falling a goal behind, Mark Lawton's 30-yard half volley squared matters. Man-of-the-match Liam Leicester headed home the winner.
In the Cheshire League Premier Division, Eagle Sports were unable to stop runaway leaders Whaley Bridge as they fell 2-0 on Saturday.
Chris Sweeney netted for Grappenhall Sports in a 2-1 loss at FC St Helens in League One.
