GREENALLS Padgate St Oswalds got their fourth win of the Cheshire Football League Premier Division season with a 4-1 victory at Congleton Vale on Saturday.

Lee Deakin, Gavin Horner, Mark Hughes and Glen Percival were on the scoresheet for Greenalls, who now sit seventh in the table.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Rylands were brought back to earth with a bump as they were thrashed 6-1 at home by Poynton, with Michael Sullivan on the scoresheet for the hosts who are now eleventh.

Eagle’s woes continue as their 2-0 home loss to leaders Linotype Cheadle was their eighth defeat in a row to leave them rock bottom and pointless.

In League One, Warrington Town reserves played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Egerton as goals from Conor Speed and Euan Woods ensured a point.

Grappenhall Sports are still struggling after strikes from James Bruce, Daniel Kimber and Tom Upton wasn’t enough to stop a 4-3 defeat at Golborne, while Daten slipped to a 2-0 defeat at West Didsbury & Chorlton reserves.

Saturday’s action in League Two saw Orford pick up their third consecutive victory as goals from Liam Leicester, Liam McLoughlin and Daniel Wilcock earned them a 3-1 home win over Deva Christleton.

Moore United picked up their second win of the season as first-half strikes from Matthew Bush and Ryan Swift saw them see off Maine Road reserves 2-1.
