Warrington Town Reserves 2 West Chorlton & Didsbury Reserves 1
WARRINGTON Town Reserves secured all three points with a late winner at home to West Chorlton & Didsbury Reserves on Saturday.
Warrington went into the half time break with a slender 1-0 lead after some good build up play by Chris Bibby and Liam Turner resulted with a cool finish under pressure from Rhys Bowers.
The Yellows created several more chances but were unable to finish.
A deflection gave West Chorlton a chance and they took full advantage to make the level the score.
Warrington brought on substitute Sam Turnbull who was lively and created some serious problems for the opposition defence.
After a scramble in the West Chorlton penalty box Turnbull blasted home to take Town into a 2-1 lead in the dying seconds of the game.
