WARRINGTON Town under nines have been sweeping all before them.
The side, managed by Justin Singleton, won four tournaments this summer; collecting top prize in competitions hosted by Woolston Rovers, Eagle, Newton and Parkdale Sidac.
They also finished runners-up at a pre-season competition in Llandudno, taking on the best north Wales has to offer.
However it is in the Warrington and District League that the Town youngsters have particularly impressed, losing just two games in the two seasons they have been together.
The club has a thriving youth set up, with five teams at under nines level.
Singleton’s successful squad was made up of Jackson Kelly, Billy Paynter, George Robinson, Ted Deakin, Jack McGlinchey, Charlie Holden, Rory Gregory, Finley Singleton, Jack Fillingham-Smith and Finley McGoven.
Are you part of a junior team who have been enjoying success recently? We would love to hear about it! Send us a report and pictures mparsons@guardiangrp.co.uk
