Mersey Valley FC 3 Warrington Town Reserves 4
WARRINGTON Town Reserves maintained their unbeaten start to the season with victory at Mersey Valley on Saturday.
Town got off to a flying start when Chris Bandell latched onto a long clearance from Josh Cook to slot the home after three mins.
Dylan Glass converted a free kick from 20 yards on eight mins to take Town into a 2-0 lead.
This was short lived as Valley halved the deficit before half time.
Nine minutes after the break Glass, Chris Bibby and Brad Parker, combined to help Town redress the balance as Bandell fired home.
Valley pulled a goal back, but substitute Rhys Bowers blasted home a penalty 13 minutes from time before a consolation the hosts.
