WINWICK'S hopes of a first Rylands Cup Final success in three decades ended with a 1-0 defeat to Knowsley South at Grange Sports Club on Saturday.
Knowsley substitute Kahlil Bowerman scored the winner a minute after arriving on the field.
For Brian Cookson's young side, it was a third defeat this season against Knowsley.
