THERE was a skeleton programme of the Cheshire Football League at the weekend after the wet weather caused a high number of postponements.
Daten remain third from bottom in Cheshire League One following Saturday’s loss.
They fell 2-0 at table toppers Congleton Vale, while Warrington Town reserves are one place and two points above Daten after their 3-1 defeat at second-placed Malpas at the weekend.
Completing a miserable Saturday for Warrington clubs, Grappenhall Sports lost 3-1 at Middlewich Town whose second team drew 3-3 with their Rylands counterparts in Reserve League One.
Daten reserves, sitting ninth, drew 2-2 at home to fourth-placed Garswood United reserves.
A full programme returns on Saturday, January 3.
