WARRINGTON Town boss Shaun Reid is confident keeper Karl Wills will not let an error in Sunday’s FA Cup game disrupt his good form.
Wills under hit a left-footed pass to Jay McCarten late in the second half, allowing Gateshead substitute Danny Wright to pounce and finish into an empty net.
But the Warrington-based shot-stopper was in fine form throughout the Yellows’ FA Cup run, keeping four clean sheets in nine outings, and has the backing of his manager.
“We did OK,” said Reid. “We were in the game until the last five minutes and the keeper’s made a bit of a rick, but I’m not going to criticise that keeper as he’s pulled us out the bag many, many a time.
“He’ll bounce back from it, we’ll all bounce back from it and go again.”
