WARRINGTON Town’s memorable FA Cup run has no doubt captured the imagination of football fans across the country, but now a Facebook page has been created to seize every moment of the journey.

The page was set up in the past week and includes recollections of matches and cherished moments along the way so far, as well as motivational videos to spur on the club.

The man behind the page, club steward Mark Stringfellow, who is travelling to Gateshead, is confident another heroic performance today will be the cue for more priceless memories to be shared.

“I wanted to put all of the memories in one place as there are lots of people posting stuff all over the place,” he said.

“For years to come it will be a page for anyone to visit to relive the whole journey all over again and to show their kids and grandkids."

With the Yellows just hours away from arguably the biggest game in their history, Mark admits he has been waiting for this moment for a long time – a feeling shared by fellow Town fans.

“When I set it up I wanted to do it for Shaun and the boys - they have made this town come alive and everyone is buzzing about the football team,” he added.

“I have waited 30 years for this, ever since I played football at school.”

With almost 300 'likes' already, Mark is urging more supporters to get involved and ‘like’ the page.

Today's game at the Gateshead International Stadium will be broadcast live on BT Sport and will kick-off at noon.
