AN introduction to the Warrington Town players who are seeking to keep the dream FA Cup run alive against League Two side Exeter City tonight, kick off 7.55pm at Cantilever Park.

Warrington Town:

1. Karl Wills, aged 27, goalkeeper – website designer. Lives in Great Sankey, attended Padgate High School. Second spell with Town for the 6ft 5ins man after joining Crewe Alexandra.

2. Lewis Field, aged 24, right back – personal trainer. Scored the winning goal against higher ranked North Ferriby to earn Town the tie against Exeter. Long haired, the fans call him ‘Jesus’. Started out with Wigan and had non-league spells with Burscough and Skelmersdale.

3. Tom Hardwich, aged 27, central defender – solicitor. Won promotion with Skelmersdale before returning for a second spell with Warrington Town. Left-footed and as tough as teak.

4. David Mannix, aged 29, midfielder – football coach. Spent time at Chester, Accrington Stanley and in the Norwegian top flight with HamKam, but was also a part of Liverpool’s Champions League final winning squad of 2005. His Anfield career was cut short by injury.

5. James McCarten, aged 23, defender – window cleaner and catalogue model. Former Everton reserves and Everton’s under 18s player of the year in 2008-09. Featured with Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town before joining the Yellows.

6. Craig Robinson, aged 32, defender – plasterer. Younger brother of MK Dons manager Karl, a previous Warrington Town player. Craig, on the comeback trail from injury, was player-manager of Ashton United before his move to Cantilever Park.

7. Connor Roberts, aged 22, midfielder – ceiling repairer. A demon in defence, not unusal for him to pick up yellow cards and missed the last round through suspension. Came through the youth system at Tranmere Rovers.

8. Nathan Burke, aged 19, midfielder – student. Bagged the winning goal in the FA Cup third qualifying round replay against Colwyn Bay. Joined Town this season from Marine but spent nine years with Liverpool’s academy.

9. Ben Wharton, aged 24, striker – football coach. Hails from Stockport, where he started his career but has also figured with Rochdale, Northwich Victoria and Buxton. He was second highest scorer in Evo-Stik First Division North last season.

10. Steve Foster, aged 32, striker – surveyor. Very experienced on the non-league scene, with previous clubs including Mossley, Witton Albion, Chorley, Salford City. Born in Manchester, he is one of Town’s most recent signings.

11. Scott Metcalfe, aged 26, midfielder – gardener. Manchester born, has experience at a higher level with Altrincham and is Town’s leading scorer this season with 11 goals.

14. Louis Corrigan, aged 23, defender – salesman. As well as time with Marine, Colwyn Bay and Skelmersdale, the former Tranmere Rovers youth player who was born in Liverpool had a spell with Shepparton United in Australia.

15. Phil Davies, aged 22, right back – fencer. Player of the year in his first season (2012-13) with Town. Previous clubs include Wrexham, Bootle and Knowlsey.

16. Chris Gaghan, aged 30, midfielder – car valeting business owner. A Warringtonian who kept this season’s FA Cup run alive with the equaliser in added time at Colwyn Bay in the third qualifying round. Gained promotions with Northwich Victoria and Bradford Park Avenue.

17. Robbie Booth, aged 28, midfielder – joiner. Played for Chester in League Two in 2004-05 after being released by Everton. Liverpool born, came to Warrington via Telford after helping them to win promotion to the Conference League Premier Division.

18. Ashley Ruane, aged 29, striker – shop assistant and sports centre receptionist. Arrived at Cantilever Park from Prescot Cables but started out with Chester. Another member of the squad to have been born in Liverpool.

19. Ben Collins, aged 17, striker – student. Represented England at youth level and been promoted to the first team from the club’s successful youth side.

22. Oscar Durnin, aged 19, striker – stockroom worker. Came to Town from Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids after spells with Rochdale and Tranmere Rovers. Started out with Bolton’s academy. If you recognise the surname, that’s because he is the son of former Liverpool, Oxford and Portsmouth striker John Durnin.

33. Matt Doughty, aged 32, left back – medical records assistant at Warrington Hospital. Warrington-born father of three, he reached the FA Cup fifth round live on BBC with Rochdale in 2002-03. Also played for Chester during a 14-year professional career.

Manager: Shaun Reid, aged 42, born in Huyton. Younger brother of ex-Everton and England midfielder, Peter. Played for Rochdale, Preston, York, Bury, Chester. Had coaching spells with Swindon and Plymouth. Managed Prescot Cables prior to replacing Joey Dunn as Town boss.
