CROFT were made to pay for not taking their chances in a dominant first half when losing 3-1 at Blackbrook in the Warrington and District League Premier Division.
Oliver Mitchell scored a 25-yard screamer of a consolation goal for Croft , with Ryan Cook, two breakaway goals, and Scott Whetton, a penalty, securing victory for the St Helens team.
