Orford 0 Monks 2
ORFORD suffered heartbreak in the Warrington and District League Guardian Cup on Saturday as Monks secured a 2-0 win at Orford Park.
Orford, who sit fourth in the league table, had the majority of possession throughout the game, however two clinical attacks from Monks was enough to send them through to the third round.
Orford were unlucky to not get anything from the game and found the Monks keeper, who was named man-of-the-match, in top form.
Good performances by Tom Neary and Keith Bacon were not enough to salvage a result for Orford as they suffered their third consecutive defeat.
Orford: Yarwood, Chamberlain, Lawton, Spence, Bacon, Jones, Neary, Moran, Smith, McCann, Maskell. Subs: McLoughlin, Sharples, Taylor.
