FIVE players from Eagle Sports have been called up to represent the Cheshire Football League in a cup final.

Captain Rob Hope, Adam Coleman, Nathan Williams, Chris Quirk, Ged McAllister and Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds pair Craig Hoyland and Mark Hughes are in Steve Lloyd’s 16-man squad for Monday’s date with the Lancashire and Cheshire League in the Jeff Walton Memorial Trophy final at Warrington Town’s Cantilever Park ground, kick-off 7.30pm.

Another Greenalls pair, Steve Dowsett and Lee Vaughn, are on standby in case of injuries or unavailability.

In last weekend’s Premier Division league action, Knutsford moved into top spot after winning 3-0 at the expense of Eagle Sports at Thornton Road.

Gamesley finished 4-3 winners in an end-to-end fixture against Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds.
