Styal 1 Rylands 4
RYLANDS’ Lee Deakin scored a brace past 10-man Styal to bag another win in the Cheshire League Division One.
Deakin opened the scoring from the spot after Alex Lowe was pulled down by the Styal keeper, who was then shown red.
The home side’s leveller was matched by a Kris Bell strike to give Rylands the lead at half time.
Ben Slater and Deakin got second-half goals to secure a comfortable return.
“Sometimes it can be difficult playing against 10 men but I thought we controlled things well before and after the red card,” said Rylands manager Dave Parr.
“We looked well balanced and all of the squad played at a good level.”
Rylands: Moor, J Sinker (Rushton), Daniels, Prescott, Duffy, Hayes, Lowe, Slater, Deakin, Bell (Rodgers), Smith.
