Top of the table after Burnley win
WARRINGTON Campus men’s football third team went top of the table after a 3-1 win at home to UCFB Burnley, writes Ashley Thornton-Jones.

Captain Jake Green ought to have restored his side’s two-goal lead only to miss from the penalty spot, before an own goal by Burnley settled the outcome. the hosts’ Elsewhere, the first team went crashing out of the British Universitiese and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Northern Conference Cup at the last eight stage after they were beaten 3-0 away at York.
The men’s rugby union team were thrashed 29-0 by their Chester campus rivals.
