Taylor hat-trick is the perfect reply

Moore United 4 Egerton 1
MOORE climbed to third place in the Cheshire Football League Division Two after they entertained early pace-setters Egerton in their first home game of the season.
A hat-trick from Scott Taylor helped Moore bounce back from midweek defeat to Daten in spectacular fashion, with his first goal coming after just eight minutes as he pressurised the Egerton keeper into a mistake.
The guests hit back against the run of play, when a long throw-in was allowed to bounce and home keeper Dave Balmer was left in limbo as the Egerton striker lifted the ball over and into the net.
Fortunately, that was as good as it got for the visitors, as Moore picked up the pace and wasted chances through Sean Willott and Taylor before the striker finally slammed home his second from a Liam Edwards cross.
The game, and Taylor’s hat-trick, was sealed seven minutes into the second half.
A long pass from Danny Dunne sent the attacker through on goal, and he finished coolly to open a 3-1 home advantage.
Three became four moments later as Steve Brookfield opened his first team account in superb style with a long-rang strike that flew into the net for 4-1.
