GREENALLS Padgate St Oswalds got their Division One campaign off to a winning start.
Lee Vaughan and Lee Hughes were on the mark in a 2-1 success against Styal at Long Lane.
Warrington Town Reserves gave up a 2-0 half-time lead on their return to the Cheshire League in Division Two, ending up with a 2-2 draw at Poynton.
In the Reserve Division, Glynn Sutton gave Grappenhall Sports a 1-0 lead at home to Barnton but the celebrations were short lived as Jonathan McDonald pulled the Northwich side level soon after.
Barnton went ahead before the break through Paul Molloy and McDonald’s second strike settled it.
Rylands Reserves made hard work of a fixture they dominated before finishing 1-0 winners at home to Poynton.
Nixon, in the Poynton goal, was in fine form saving from Emery, Taylor, Mather and a penalty shot from Jennings.
The only goal came when Taylor crossed for Emery and although his shot looked to be going wide the unfortunate Rashleigh turned it into his own net.
