EAGLE Sports failed to close ground on runaway leaders Knutsford in a 0-0 draw at Thornton Road on Saturday.
The JB Parker Challenge Cup finalists remain 21 points and six games behind reigning Cheshire Division One champions Knutsford, who had a defender sent off late on for a two-footed challenge.
Billinge strolled out 9-3 winners against Grappenhall Sports, who now have no way out of the relegation zone.
Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds came from behind to win 2-1 at Crewe FC, moving them up to sixth spot in the table.
Danny Wilcock slotted home the equaliser, while Ben Slater came off the bench to secure the win.
Slater’s initial shot was saved but he made no mistake when the ball came back to him.
In Division Two, James Dykes, Charlie Elwell and Greg Freeman helped Daten to secure their second victory of the season, 3-2 at Malpas.
Rylands came from behind to secure three points at Garswood United in the Reserve Division.
Kurt Emery opened the scoring after 10 minutes but Garswood were ahead 2-1 by the break.
Ben Warder equalised within a minute of the restart and scored the winner on 74 minutes.
Leaders Greenalls had to work hard for their win against Barnton.
The Northwich outfit took a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute but Greenalls levelled almost immediately when Paul Benns coolly slotted home.
Neil Glendinning missed a penalty but he played a part in Greenalls’ winner in the 75th minute when his corner found Benns, who was free to head home from eight yards.
Eagle Sports climbed into third spot with a 9-3 win at Denton Town.
