St Andrews Primary School girls' football team to represent Warrington in Merseyside tournament

ST Andrews Primary School girls' football team have won the inaugural Warrington round of the Liverpool Cup.

They won every match without conceding a goal on their way to picking up the trophy at Bradshaw Primary School.

The tournament comprised of 13 teams and was organised by Bradshaw head teacher Chris Short.

The St Andrews girls will now go on to represent Warrington in the Merseyside round.

They are one step away from the Grand Final which which will be played at Liverpool Football Club’s Anfield home.

The girls are keen to sport a new strip and anyone interested in providing sponsorship is asked to contact headteacher Keith Cahillane on 630497.
