Eagle Ged in flying form for Cheshire

GED McAllister’s four-goal haul helped send the Cheshire League’s representative team through to the North West Inter League Cup final in style last Wednesday.

The Eagle Sports striker scored a first half hat-trick as the hosts hammered their Lancashire and Cheshire League counterparts 6-1 in the semi final second leg at Crewe’s Cumberland Arena to seal a 7-1 success on aggregate.

Whaley Bridge’s Lee Morris added a brace.

McAllister’s Eagle teammates Adam Coleman, Rob Hope and Nathan Williams were in the starting line-up alongside Greenalls pair Jon Shakeshaft and Chris Latham.

Chris Quirk, also from Eagle, was among the substitutes.
