FIXTURES have been released for the 2018 cricket season as Warrington-based teams gear up for the new campaign.

All six of the town’s clubs get their seasons underway on Saturday, April 21, and all but one start with an away fixture.

Grappenhall will compete in the county’s top flight for the second straight season and their Cheshire County League Premier Division begins with a trip to Bramhall.

Warrington suffered relegation from Division One in 2017 and their bid to bounce straight back starts with a visit to Mobberley.

The remainder of the town’s teams play in the Cheshire Cricket League, with Lymm Oughtrington Park hosting Congleton in Division One.

Stretton are newcomers to Division Two in 2018 after a superb campaign saw them win promotion last year. They begin at Winnington Park.

Appleton travel to Old Parkonians in their opening Division Three encounter, while Glazebury are at Bowdon Vale in Division Four.
