AMIR Aslam took his second hat-tick of the season as Appleton beat Tranmere Victoria in Cheshire Alliance Division One on Saturday.
That came in an impressive 4 for 10 haul as the hosts won by eight wickets.
Tranmere Victoria won the toss, batted and were bowled out for 86 with Aslam’s attack complemented by A Rashid taking 4 for 28.
In reply, Appleton won the game scoring 87 – 2 with I McAuley enjoying a knock of 36.
Appleton’s Joe Cooper scored his maiden half century, 63, as the third team enjoyed victory over Stalybridge.
The fourth team also won, making it three victories of three for the club on Saturday.
They beat Maritime seconds by four wickets in Division Four West, reaching the 113 target for six wickets in 33 overs
