A FOURTH successive win on Saturday keeps in-form Glazebury close to leaders Stretton in Cheshire Alliance Division One.
Tom Wilkinson, 62, and Ian Black, 48, shared in a 73-run partnership for the seventh wicket to rescue an innings that appeared in trouble at 78 for 6 against visiting Trafford.
They declared at 180 for 8.
Dave Acton’s five-wicket haul helped dismiss Trafford for 44 in reply, skipper Sam Stanier providing support with 4 for 16.
It leaves Glazebury seven points from the table’s summit ahead of a trip to fifth-placed Appleton this weekend.
