In the Cheshire Cricket Alliance League, Rylands stormed to a dominant 200-run victory away at Mellor.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat the away side took complete control, declaring on 275 for 4 with runs from Alan Brady, 71 not out, Eddie Platt, 61, Richard Buck, 59, and Graeme Rowlands, 49.
Sujith Nair, 5 for 39, and Mark Green, 3 for 30 did the damage to skittle for 75 and send Rylands second in Division Two.
The seconds lost by four wickets to Frodsham, despite putting on 202.
