Grappenhall seconds relegated
GRAPPENHALL seconds will play their cricket in the Cheshire County Second XI First Division next season after dropping out of the top flight despite beating Urmston.
In the previous two weeks they had beaten Alderley Edge and Nantwich, but it was too little, too late for a side who had not finished outside the top four in the Premier Division for the past four seasons.
On the day, Matt Titchard took the final wicket to dismiss the hosts for 159 and bag a five-wicket haul.
The skipper than watched the young, unbeaten, partnership of Ben Bodha and Albert Pennington flourish and ease past the total.
