RYLANDS recorded a victory in their final Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Two game of the 2014 campaign at bottom club Heaton Mersey Village.
Winning the toss and electing to bowl, Rylands had the hosts all out for 40 inside 17 overs, Matt Brady, 5 for 14, and Sujith Nair, 2 for 24, the only bowlers required.
Although a few early wickets fell in the chase, the total required was always going to be obtained and Rylands ran out comfortable winners.
Appleton won by 62 runs in Division One at Ellesmere Port after declaring on 202 for 4, with R Clarke making 66, while A Rashid took 6 for 24 in reply to skittle Port for 140.
Appleton seconds beat Kerridge by 63 runs in Division Three.
