STRETTON kept their hopes of promotion alive with a win at Stalybridge in Cheshire Alliance League Division One on Saturday.
Stalybridge were reduced to 55 for 8 with Junaid Mir, with 3 for 40, leading the attack, before some late hitting allowed them to post 126.
A collapse in the Stretton batting order saw the side struggling on 92 for 8 but Mohammed Amir took control to score 24 off 14 balls and claim the win.
