WARRINGTON’S cricket teams have learned their fate for this year’s Cheshire Cup and Shield.
Fourteen round one games will be played on Sunday, May 4, to be followed by 16 ties in round two on Sunday, May 25, at which stage the Premiership clubs from the league and Liverpool Competition enter.
Clubs losing in the first round will go on to compete in the Cheshire Shield, the draw for which will be made after matches played on May 4.
Round one (Sunday, May 4): Widnes v Appleton; Upton v Warrington. Round two (Sunday, May 25): Oxton v Warrington or Upton; Widnes or Appleton v Hale Barns; Grappenhall v Oulton Park.
