RYLANDS’ seconds recorded a four-wicket win against Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Four strugglers Mossley at Gorsey Lane on Saturday.
Bond Bateson and Joe Threadgold took three wickets apiece as the visitors fell for 141.
Alex Green was caught on 24 as Rylands’ openers made a stand of 66, Andy Barker carrying his bat for an unbeaten 67 and Australian Ben Shield putting on a fine all-round display in his final game.
Rylands head to Ellesmere Port on Saturday.
