CROSFIELDS overcame tough conditions to deliver a comfortable victory, helped by a try-scoring debut from man of the match Alex Stewart and a top defence display from fellow debutant Jack Roper.

TRIES from Marcus Grady and Taylor Russell could not prevent Soap from slipping to defeat. Thomas Mather won man of the match and and Coach's award went to Lewis Hall.

Culcheth Eagles u15 46 Liverpool Lions u15 6

EAGLES grabbed their first league win of the season with help from Jack Harrop's hat-trick, which earned him a share of the man of the match award along with Ryan Jones and Charlie Maxted. Jayson Biddle won the coaches award and George Bradburn won top tackler on his debut.

Rylands Sharks 20 Wigan St Pats 36

AN improved second half performance helped Sharks reduce the gap opened in a tough first half, with top tackler Issac Williams keeping an excellent Wigan side at bay. Tries came from team player Will Amor, man of the match Tommy Forber, Tom Smith and Zack Lowe.
