KYLE Best starred for Rovers as he scored a hat-trick of tries and kicked two goals, with Will Tilleke also crossing.

Woolston Rovers u13 56 Haydock Warriors u13 0

A DOMINANT display saw Jack Darbyshire scored three tries and kick six goals for Rovers as he won the man of the match award.

Jack Bailey, Kian Mather, Mike Butler and Christian Piazza also scored a try each, as did Spencer Richardson, Ashley Barnes, Nathan Shovelton and Marley Noel Kennedy.

DAYON Sambou scored both Rovers tries, with Nathan Haywood adding a goal. Chris Eaves took the man of the match award, while the top tackler and coach’s prizes went to Harry Hunt and Ben Parton respectively.

MAN of the match Isaac Carson’s brace helped Woolston to victory, with Ethan Jones also scoring a try. Finnlay Cliffe kicked a goal and also won the top tackler award, while Jayden Edwards won the coach’s prize.

JACK McCarthy, twice and Alfie Rattigan scored tries for Woolston, while goals were added by McCarthy, Ben Harrison and Oliver Daniels, who shared the man of the match award with Ashton Lewis. Matty Bowden was top tackler and Luke Platt was named opposition man of the match.

JACKSON Dillon, Leon Johnson, Samuel Dickenson, Thomas Macintosh and Ellis Livesey all crossed the whitewash for Rovers. Thomas Whitehead was named man of the match, with Will Henshaw picking up the coach’s award.

Wigan St Patricks u9 24 Woolston Rovers Green u9 20

TWO tries from Louis Talbot and one each from Jake McBride, Bailey Hamilton and Mason Birchall could not stop Rovers falling to defeat. Jack Bramhall was named man of the match, with Bobby Morris and Noah Brown winning the top tackler and coach’s prizes respectively.

MAN of the match George McCarthy and top tackler Owen Moores both scored hat-tricks for Woolston, with coach’s award winner Jack Quigley scoring a brace. Jacob Kelly was named opposition man of the match.

JAMES Rogers, who won the man of the match prize, scored twice for Rovers along with Oliver Hughes, with Rome Lowe also getting a try. Ewan Armstrong won the coach’s award, while Lenny McGinty was top tackler.

A MAN-OF-THE-MATCH display from Rhys Somma saw him score a hat-trick, with top tackler Jack Bowden scoring twice. Coach’s award winner Tobias Birchall scored another try along with Ben MacLennan.

Latchford Giants u14 0 Saddleworth u14 38

A BAD day at the office for the Giants, but Luke Thomas won the man of the match prize and Tom Porter also put in a good performance.

Latchford Giants u7 36 Widnes Moorfield u7 44

LOUIE Stephenson, who was chosen by the opposition as Giants’ man of the match, scored twice to go with other tries for Harry Hazel, Charlie Thomas, Lawson Vella, Billy Foy, Harry Daintith, Taylor Jackson and Saul Vella.

Harrison Lawley-Carter won the Giants man of the match award, while Joe Delooze was top tackler and Lawson Vella won the parents’ prize.
