HAVING already secured two trophies this season, Woolston Rovers A could add the league title to their collection on Saturday.

Avoiding defeat against Langworthy Reds at Monks Sports Club will see them clinch the North West Men’s League Division Four crown.

This would put further shine on a glorious campaign for the team, who have already scooped the Warrington Alliance Cup and the NWML Shield.

The visitors arrive sitting in third place, but Rovers A joint-coach Andy Penny says he and fellow coach Steve Moore expect another big performance from their side.

“The lads have really given their all from the beginning of the season and it is this level of commitment that has put us in such a great position,” he said.

“We are fully aware of the quality that Langworthy possess and know that it will be a fierce encounter.

“We have being performing at a high level all year and I fully expect the lads to go out and put in another top display.

“The way that they have played in the two recent cup finals has shown to me that they are able to rise to the big occasion.

“It would cap a great few weeks if we could get the job done this weekend.

“It is a squad game and everybody that has played for us this year deserves great credit.”

Kick off at Monks Sports Club is at 2.30pm.

Further action on Saturday sees Crosfields looking to keep their play-off hopes alive in National Conference League Division Two.

However, Mark Brennan's side face the daunting prospect of a trip to league leaders Oulton Raiders.

In the NWML Premier Division, Latchford Albion are on the road as they visit Hindley.

Crosfields A welcome Chester Gladiators to Hood Lane in NWML Division Three, while Burtonwood Bridge travel to Eccleston Lions in the same league.
