WOOLSTON Rovers are launching a Masters side and are inviting any players over the age of 35 to sign up.
There will be a registration day at Monks Sports Club on Saturday between 2pm and 5pm for anyone interested in joining the team. The registration fee is £20.
“With the introduction of a ‘Masters’ side that enables our more experienced members to still take to the field,” Rovers public relations officer Dave Whalley said.
“It further enhances the Woolston Rovers name and I am certain that it will be a great success.
“It has been something that has been discussed for a few years now but now it is finally going to come to fruition and we are really looking forward to seeing the team in action.”
