WOLVES legend Bob Jackson will be Latchford Albion’s special matchday guest when they host Bank Quay Bulls on Saturday, May 21.

Ex-Wire prop Jackson, who made more than 200 appearances for the club between 1984 and 1994, will speak to Albion's players before the game and select a man of the match afterwards.

He says he is looking forward to returning to a club he has admired for many years.

“My friendship with Latchford started back in the 1980s when I used to watch the Albion play 'on the park'," he said.

"The Wright brothers, Nicky Murphy, Billy Rodney, Ray Hargreaves, Mike Byron and the rest of the lads played there.

“I was also privileged to be a guest at presentation nights, and it will be great to go back and see the new facilities everyone is talking about as well as catching up with some old friends.”
