FOUR tries from Sol Rushton helped Rovers to a crushing win over Caddishead, with Nathan O’Rourke also grabbing two and Jacque Lapatrie, Tom Ridge, Brad Hankey and Tyler Kelly crossing once each. Kelly also kicked a goal, while Ben Roberts kicked three and Declan Houghton two.

GREENS edged out Golds in this clash of two Woolston sides, with two tries from Alfie Hamilton and one each for James Hunter and top tackler Charlie Brearly.
Goals followed from Hunter, Brearly, Harry Dumican and player-of-the-match Chris Eaves.
Kyle Hickman, Max Kelly, Danny Rowlands and Dayon Sambou crossed for Golds in this close-fought game.

A SUPERB individual performance from four-try player-of-the-match Joe Hickey could not stop Rovers falling to defeat against Hindley.
Hickey and top-tackler Loui Ashton also kicked goals, while the Coach’s Award went to Noah Quigley and Top Trainer was Freddie Peace.

TRIES from player-of-the-match Max Myers-Davies and Ciaran Card helped Sharks to maintain their unbeaten run with a draw away to Leigh East, with Jamie Shallcross taking the Top Tackler award and the whole team picking up the Coach’s prize.

TWO tries each from Oliver Daniels and Jack McCarthy boosted Rovers to the win, while top-tackler Ben Harrison and Leon Smy, who shared the player of the match award with Leo Hinton, grabbed one each.

THOMAS Whitehead, picked as player of the match, grabbed four tries for Woolston, for whom Top Tackler Samuel Dickenson crossed for a hat-trick.
Jackson Dillon, Connor Anderson and Thomas Macintosh touched down too.
Chorley Panthers u8 8 Woolston Rovers Greens u8 13
DANIEL Stelfox ran in four tries for Rovers as they won at Chorley, with player-of-the-match Ryan Davidson, Ben Taylor, Archie Murray and Jack Bramhall grabbing two each.
Louis Talbot also crossed for a try, while Dylan Allen picked up the Top Tackler award and the Coach’s prize went to Joe Sherratt.
Rylands Tiger Sharks u8 5 Hindley 13
RYLANDS left themselves too much to do after a slow start against Hindley, but never gave up and player-of-the-match Dylan Reilly crossed for a hattrick of tries, with Top Tackler Callum Keenan adding a brace.
