JOHN Fieldhouse feels his Woolston Rovers side will be stronger for stringing a few wins together.
Rovers entertain Heworth at Monks Sports Club in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Premier Division on Saturday, kick off 2.30pm, looking to build on an opening 36-16 win against Waterhead.
“We need to put in better performances on a weekly basis and if we do we will be difficult to beat," said Fieldhouse, now in his second spell at the Rovers helm and wary after Heworth's 48-10 home loss to Dewsbury Moor Maroons.
“I want to keep our unbeaten run going for as long as possible as winning builds confidence and belief.
“Heworth suffered a setback last weekend but they will be keen to make amends this week so we must be on our guard and ensure there is no complacency on our part.”
