Culcheth Eagles 30 Bank Quay Bulls A 24
CULCHETH Eagles collected their first silverware since their reincarnation three years in the Warrington Alliance Cup Final against Bank Quay Bulls A on Saturday.
Bulls piled on the pressure early and scored two tries before James Wilde hit back with one for Culcheth.
Another two tries each, with Wilde and Ross Ashton crossing for Culcheth, made it 14-24 at the break.
Eagles came out fighting after the restart and they soon stormed into lead through Nathan Bell’s second-half hat-trick, which sealed the Cup Final victory.
