WOOLSTON Rovers assistant coach Danny Halliwell claims his side are still fighting for the play-offs ahead of Saturday’s home clash with third place Underbank Rangers in the Kingstone Press National Conference Division Three.
Rovers have only picked up 10 points from 15 games and lie in seventh but Halliwell says Woolston still have plenty to play for on Saturday.
“We are still in with a shout of getting into the play-offs so there is certainly a lot to play for,” said Halliwell.
“Underbank are lying in third place at present and will provide us with a tough game but there is no reason why we cannot get the win.
“We will be training hard in the week to make sure we are ready to give it a good shot.”
