Blackbrook 48 Woolston Rovers 0

WOOLSTON suffered a fifth successive defeat when they were beaten comfortably at Blackbrook in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three on Thursday.

Rovers were forced into 11 changes from the previous fixture against Heworth and had to make another seven minutes in to the game after a neck injury to Christian Taylor stopped the match for 10 minutes.

Despite the changed side, Rovers held on strong and were still in the game at half time with Blackbrook leading 6-0.

The home side went over again straight after the restart and went on to put the game well out of reach for Woolston, with a relentless second-half performance and four tries from Blackbrook’s Stephen Parkinson taking the score to 48-0.
