Cons take over in Division One

MONKS A lost their unbeaten record and their top spot in Division One of the Warrington Snooker League after their 4-3 loss at Irlam Catholic A.

Earlestown Cons take over at the top, thanks to a 5-2 win at GESM A, with Wayne Brown keeping up his excellent form with an 82 break.

Irlam Cons’ Paul Oliver also kept his fine form going with a break of 63 along with Warren McDougall, who enjoyed a 45 break but failed to help his team avoid a 4-3 defeat at Penketh Tavern A.

The new leaders in Division Two are Richmonds B, who remain unbeaten after a 6-1 win over Monks C to lead by one point from Rylands B.

Rylands are also unbeaten after they beat Woolston C 4-3, with their namesakes Rylands A level on points after they won 5-2 at Bridgewater Club.

Woolston B are the new leaders in Division Three after beating Eagle Sports 6-1, but Penketh Cons A and St Benedicts are both still unbeaten as Lee Kelly’s break helped Benedicts beat Irlam Catholic B 5-2.
