Chadwick racks up more golds
WARRINGTON’S Kelly Chadwick backed up her success in the finals of the UK Young Athletes League with a double gold-medal winning performance at the Douglas Bedford Memorial Open in Wakefield.
The 12-year-old member of Sale Harriers won gold medals in the long jump and 200m to add to the national success she achieved at Sport City, Manchester a week earlier.
The Penketh High School pupil won gold in the 75m, 150m and long jump events at the UK Young Athletes League finals to secure her status as the UK’s number one in her age group for all three disciplines.
