She grabbed her second gold medal in the Women’s Masters C Double Scull with partner Val Edwards, from Runcorn RC, an event that Tavernier has dominated over recent years with five consecutive titles.

Her final first-place finish of the day came courtesy of another win in the Women’s Masters C Quad Sculls, with a composite crew comprising of Edwards, Sue Brown, of X-Press RC, and Bex Williams, of St Ives RC.

Not content with her impressive medal tally, Tavernier went on to add a silver medal in a composite Women C Eight.
